From animal feed, insect technology, pasta and Asian noodles to cereals and snacks, the innovative process solutions of our Value Nutrition business area can be found everywhere.

We offer a very interesting position in the Technology/ Engineering team of our insect technology Business.

Tasks
  • Approximately 70% of your tasks are in the Mechanical Engineering for plant execution projects in close Cooperation with the Engineering team. This contains the following details:
  • Equipment and System specifications for 3rd party supply incl bid evaluation, bid clarification with sub suppliers and review/approve sub suppliers engineering documentation.
  • Develop Process description and Process Matrix as input for automation engineers.
  • Develop commissioning plan and procedures.
  • Perform disciplinary and interdisciplinary reviews.
  • Coordinate specific engineering work packages within Bühler and key suppliers.
  • Provide Mechanical engineering support and expertise.
  • Another 10% is about the further development of our core technology/competences in automated logistic Systems and special mechanical conveying Systems by re-evaluating new technologies and concepts and feedback operational experience from running industrial plants.
  • For 20% you will contribute/ lead dient specific feasibility studies with special focus on logistic Systems, special mechanical conveying Systems and conceptual equipment arrangements.
  • Global traveling expected around 10% on average.

Required Qualifications
  • Bsc or Msc in Mechanical Engineering or Bsc or Msc in Process Engineering (Mechanische Verfahrenstechnik) with focus on mechanical equipment
  • Broad knowledge with mechanical equipment’s in industrial process plants
  • Good awareness in automation disciplines
  • Basic CAD knowledge

Preferred Qualifications
  • working experience in Food, Beverage, and Feed industry, Chemical industry
  • working in interdisciplinary project teams
  • Good written and spoken German knowledge
