Position Overview

Over the coming 3-5 years, accelerating digitalization and other innovations will transform working lives within our Planning community. The Planner of the Future program will ensure this transformation is led in a focused and accessible way. The purpose of this role is to deliver the Planner of the Future for the MedTech SC Regions and Plan organization, including an agreed offering of learning resources and change activities. Key Responsibilities

With The Guidance Of The Talent, Learning And Change Lead, You Will Have Hands-on Leadership Of Planner Of The Future Program, Including
  • Scanning the internal and external environments to understand how technological innovation will impact the role of the planner in supply chain organizations, over the medium-term
  • Building and evolving a shared understanding, at all levels of the organization, of what the planner of the future is
  • Operationalizing the planner of the future to generate concrete, practical actions to develop our planners and our planning communities
  • Developing a clear plan for rolling out appropriate learning resources and change activities to the Planning community and implementing that plan
  • Supporting our people to access the best, most appropriate development opportunities for them
  • Providing both formal and informal leadership to encourage employee engagement and retention as we transition to a new model of Planning

In parallel, you will own our Digital Talent Strategy, delivering digital talent to the planning community, by upskilling and retaining existing employees and attracting new ones.

Education

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field, including (but not limited to) business and management, supply chain, adult learning (andragogy), change and communication
  • Master’s or equivalent post-graduate qualifications / professional certification in as second relevant field, including (but not limited to) business and management, supply chain, adult learning (andragogy), change and communication

Experience
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including Supply Chain experience - preferably in Planning
  • Significant professional experience of talent, learning and/or change management

  • Strong proficiency with MS Office, including Teams

Location of Role: Diegem, New Jersey or Zug preferred

Language Requirements: English

Travel Requirements: This position may require an average of 10 - 20% travel
