For our Automotive Products Group – Business Unit Components & Services (C&S Europe) based in Murten, we are looking for a Methods Project Engineer (w/m), who would improve general productivity by analyzing methods and systematization, in the Project Phase & in the Serial production preparation.

Responsibilities
  • Represent C&S department from the beginning of the project in JE
  • Contact point between Sales-BU, Engineering, Operations and C&S
  • Prepare ESI (Early Supplier Involvement) and manage the LoR (List of Requirements) received from customer
  • Continue to deploy the company’s C&S standards and skills throughout Europe sites (tools Maintenance...)
  • Deploy a Training process by level, to be everywhere with the same skills and knowledge
  • Manage the communication about tool manufacturing with external suppliers
  • Optimize operations and routines, tasks organization and timings
  • Control the costs spending during development phase
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement (Genba Kaizen, 5S, AMS etc.)


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Engineering degree in mechanical or industrial engineering
  • 3 – 5 years of similar industrial experience; preferably in the automotive industry
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and German, French is an asset
  • Independence and systematic working, able to work under pressure
  • Leadership, organized and autonomous
