To support our current and future products, we are looking for a Senior Mobile Software Engineer in Test who will be responsible for developing state-of-the-art applications that delight our customers. We are contributing actively to build high-performance teams that take accountability, drive innovation and achieve operational excellence together

Your tasks
  • Design and develop software components, platforms, services and applications for automated testing of the Sonova Group software solutions in a medical context
  • Serve as a role model and drive high quality development through best practices including modern architectural patterns, coding standards, automated testing with continuous integration and peer code review
  • Daily work in an interdisciplinary Scrum team, and supporting the Product Owner in technical discussions
  • Specify, design and develop automated test structure for different categories of tests and different schedules of execution, and support integration of automated tests in the continuous integration system
  • Ensure continuously code quality and clean code, develop new automated tests, maintain the automated test code base, maintain an adequate test coverage
  • Align with other test teams and work towards a shared automated test infrastructure and automated test components

Your profile
  • University Degree in Computer Science or a related field; ISTQB certification is a plus
  • 5+ years of professional working experience in Android or iOS development, with strong Kotlin or Swift fundamentals, and professional working experience in Python or Bash
  • Strong knowledge of Git-based version control and distributed development workflows
  • Experienced in agile development practices, and in supporting non-technical Product Owners and other business stakeholders in refining product requirements
  • Experience in consuming and debugging the communication to the RESTful API’s is a plus
  • Familiarity with medical device software development processes (e.g. IEC 62304) a significant plus
  • Self-motivated personality with good communication skills and open for new challenges in an interdisciplinary team
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
