About the Role



We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our team for a period of 4-6 months to support the Automotive & Mobility Solutions team in the Reinsurance Business Unit. If you are curious about new technologies and are interested in understanding more about the Reinsurance industry, we want to hear from you!

Key responsibilities

  • Perform market analysis on new mobility trends, with a particular focus on vehicles with increased level of automation up to Autonomous Vehicles (AVs).
  • Support the creation of insurance products and solutions through research and data analysis.
  • Support the research and analysis of legal and regulatory frameworks in the mobility space and assess their possible impact for the (re)insurance industry.
  • Contribute to the writing of white papers and scientific publications

The internship will be for 4-6 months, starting immediately and be based inZurich. Home-base details can be agreed upon.


About the Team

Swiss Re P&C Solutions uses Swiss Re’s risk expertise, strong capital base and new technology to help clients grow and improve profitability by developing innovative solutions and sharing the risk. The Automotive & Mobility Solutions team develops innovative solutions to mobility players – be it insurer, OEM, mobility provider or fleet. In this role you will be part of the dedicated sales and delivery team working closely with clients to find solutions to their mobility related insurance needs. You will benefit from being a core part of the Americas Solutions team as well as integrated into the larger global Automotive and Mobility Solutions team.
The team is composed of very talented colleagues with a vast range of expertise, from economics to mathematics to chemical engineering and physics. We are a fast-paced, high performance group of people, mostly based in Zurich.

About you

  • University degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science or others.
  • Strong interest for new technology trends, especially within the mobility space.
  • Programming skills in R or Phyton are essential!
  • Excellent oral and written English
  • Strong attention to details with an ability to stay focus on the big picture.
  • Creative and curious mind-set
