Your field of responsibility

As a Multi Asset Quantitative Strategist/Portfolio Manager, you will support managing our tactical asset allocation across client portfolios by conducting analysis across asset classes and markets and contributing to the build out of research and portfolio/risk management infrastructure.
A challenging position within Multi Asset Investment team that manages innovative investment strategies with focus on specialized areas and actively managed long and long/short equity products.
Identify investment ideas and dive deep into the drivers, considering the risk/return trade off, implementation of the idea and when to take profit/loss. You should be prepared to ‘own’ your ideas and debate vigorously in an open forum.
Keep up to date on market developments, the latest research from academia as well as market practitioners. Be ready to have a view on any relevant market event or asset.

Your future colleagues

The Multi Asset team helps determine the firm’s tactical asset allocation, thematic investments and manage a long/short multi-asset strategy directly implemented by the team.
The team is composed of 4 investment professionals: 2 are senior portfolio managers with more than 20 years of experience. The other 2 are more junior profiles supporting the investment process, the operational workflow as well as the management of tools.

Your skills and experience

Are you a dedicated and highly motivated individual who establishes effective relationships with key partners and can make things happen? Then, join us to develop our business and expand the frontier of modern Asset Management.

  • You possess 5-10 years of work experience, ideally in investment management, asset management or trading environments at VP/Dir level
  • You have a strong understanding of financial products (fixed-income and equity markets), including pricing and risk calculation methodologies
  • You have experience in Global Emerging markets, understanding local idiosyncratic dynamics and being able to convert them into trade proposals in the portfolio context
  • You are well versed in several investment approaches including: valuation based, global macro, systematic, GTAA, factor based and ideally long-only and long-short
  • Are you passionate about multi-asset or macro investing with a focus on what makes a successful investment?
  • You have strong analytical skills with a structured, solution oriented approach, combined with passion, and a “Can do attitude”
  • You have programming experience in Python and other data analysis tools
  • You have strong communication and team-working skills. Fluency in English is a requirement, German and/or any other languages is seen as a clear plus
