• Liaise with clients on complex issues and be available on-site if needed
• Receive feedback and offer advice on more complex design work – Consulting approach
• Responsible for delegating less complex tasks to engineers and technicians, and make sure that their work is of a high standard.
• Demonstrate good administration abilities such as writing reports and proposals, and must be able handle general project documentation with ease
• Assure quality standards for a delivered solution or installation
• Create designs for a solution or installation
• Ensure operational hardware and operational software on client site
• Facilitate and/or contribute to a technical workshop
• Interact and co-operate with vendors
• Own and take responsibility for the delivery of a solution or installation
• Provide inputs and guidance to continuously improve internal systems, services and processes.
• Oversee the engineers and technicians and make sure that our client’s IT systems run at their optimum
  

What will make you a good fit for the role?

• BSc or MSc degree in Information Technology
• At least 10 years’ experience in Deploying and troubleshooting Network Infrastructures, LAN, WAN, Network Optimisation, Application Delivery, Data Centre, Wireless, Security, with a Systems Integrator;
• Demonstrate strong knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business challenges/needs, with sound technical consulting orientation
• Good understanding of architecture, projects and risk models
• Ability to listen, analyse, persuade and influence Technical and Management stakeholders to move to the digital Network transformation journey
• Consulting customer-oriented skills in order to support autonomously Service organisation;
• Consulting capabilities in the area of network analysis and visibility;
• Leadership in the project ownership as senior technical leader
• Sound competencies (certifications wished) in following technologies: Cisco CCNP R&S (a non-negotiable, CCIE a strong plus), LAN (Cisco Cat9k + DNAC), Data Center Network (N9k + ACI)
• In addition (an asset): Wireless (Cisco, Meraki or Aruba) and WAN/SD-WAN (Cisco / Viptela / Meraki), Network and Applications performance/visibility (Riverbed or Cisco), Application Delivery (F5), Data Center Network automation, Scripting/automation skills, Network Optimisation (Riverbed RCSA or RCSP or Cisco) and if possible, Cybersecurity
• Full proficiency in English and French are mandatory, German and Swiss German (a strong plus);
• Ability to manage assigned work processes, urgent and complex tasks simultaneously in high-pressure situations
• Good presentation skills and ability to think outside the box
