Art Basel stages the world’s premier modern and contemporary art shows, held annually in Basel, Miami Beach, and Hong Kong. Founded by gallery owners in 1970, Art Basel is a driving force in supporting the role that galleries play in the nurturing of artists and developing and promoting the visual arts.

For a temporary assignment of 6 months (starting as soon as possible until the end of December 2021) Art Basel is seeking for our office in Basel, Switzerland a creative personality as

Newsletter Coordinator (temporary assignment)

  • Manage Mailchimp communications to key Art Basel stakeholders (Galleries, VIPs, general public)
  • Together with newsletter editor, manage Mailchimp marketing campaigns to key stakeholders, develop Mailchimp as a communications and sales tool
  • Work with newsletter editor and VIP, galleries, and Marketing teams to assemble content, upload content to Mailchimp management software, and manage send outs
  • Manage Mailchimp calendar across departments to ensure timely and accurate send out of vital communications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing or related discipline
  • At least 3 years professional experience in managing newsletter campaigns end to end
  • Excellent editing skills and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiam and interest for the Art Basel environment
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet conflicting deadlines under pressure.
  • A collaborative spirit, flexible approach to work, and the ability to work to short deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Native English speaker, other languages are a plus
  • Eligible to work in Switzerland (the position is based in Basel)
