Your field of responsibility


Operational resilience is ability of the bank’s critical business services to withstand, adapt and recover from severe but plausible scenarios. The COO Global Operational Resilience team is working to enhance this capability. This challenging and demanding role gives the following opportunities:

  • Responsible for the assessment execution within the Operational Resilience Program working with colleagues across Credit Suisse Divisions and Corporate Functions (including but not limited to CIO, Group Operations, GBSS, and Business Continuity Management) as well as program stakeholders to ensure program milestones and regulatory deliverables are met.
  • Undertake the critical business service dependency mapping, impact tolerance definition and severe but plausible scenario tests (including functional testing).
  • Facilitate the definition and agreement of the necessary remedial actions such that critical business services can remain within impact tolerance.
  • Support the development of the communication and response plans for the in-scope critical business services across the region.
  • Ensure updates and reporting regarding progress and outcomes to team management on a regular basis.

Your skills and experience


We are looking for:

  • Degree level qualification or equivalent experience with 3 – 7 years’ experience in financial services. Risk-relevant certifications are a plus. Business proficiency in English is essential.
  • MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio is essential. Knowledge of non-financial frameworks such as business continuity management, information security, third party risk management an advantage.
  • Proven ability to interact with senior management, build trusted partnerships, and deliver sound opinion and present relevant solutions with confidence and credibility.
  • Self-motivating and enthusiastic, with the ability to prioritize workload and operate within limited direct supervision.
  • Outstanding problem solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to deliver to a high standard.
  • A self-starter and fast learner with creative problem-solving skills and a high energy level, flexibility and a positive ‘can do’ attitude; able to operate in a still evolving new area of regulatory and senior management focus.
