Operational Risk Analyst (Change)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist analysis, coordination, and presentations in the support of the firm’s Operational Resiliency program
  • Assist the risk managers in performing review and challenge role on Operational Resiliency Program
  • Contribute towards Scenarios and Stress Testing by applying NFR Scenarios Narratives and Methodology
  • Contribute towards resiliency metrics, vulnerabilities and threat assessment, scenarios modelling and data analysis using data sourcing, analytical languages, modelling and visualization skills
  • Support the Operational Resiliency teams with the analysis of key risk and control indicators relevant for critical business services
  • Support the impact tolerance assessment for Operational Resiliency Stress Testing scenarios. This includes understanding the methodology and model designed by NFR/ Operational Resiliency teams.
  • Support the relevant NFR SMEs with specific requests related to scenarios and data analysis for their respective coverage areas
  • Contribute to NFR Operational Resiliency related deliveries
  • Proactively collaborate with key stakeholders across 1st and 2nd line of defense

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

  • University degree (e.g. Mathematics, Economics, Business or Finance, or IT) or banking apprenticeship including analytical or statistical training
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience including analysis of business/practical problems (researching problems, sourcing data, automation of sourcing, recommending solutions or actions, and creating dashboard or visualization)
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Self-driven and outcome-orientated, ability to think strategically, demonstrate decisiveness and sound judgment on a consistent basis
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills , strong ability to cope with pressure, and a high level of flexibility

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Understanding of financial institutes business, products, risks and controls
