Lyfa is looking for a passionate operations manager to support the day-to-day running of our warehouse and order fulfillment. For this position attitude is much more important than experience and would suit someone early in their career.

Since November 2021 we have started delivering our Zero-waste groceries across the whole of Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Since then we have been growing approximately 30% per month and are therefore expanding our capabilities. Our warehouse is based at the Aktienmühle in Basel, here we fill, pack, and store all of our products, and also prepare all of our orders ready for delivery.

We are now looking to bring in a new face to manage the day-to-day running of our warehouse and fulfillment activities, including managing a small team, managing stock levels, and working with the founding team to make sure we can handle the rapid growth of the company.

Tasks

Your responsibilities will be to make sure all our products are in stock, by monitoring stock levels, placing orders with our suppliers, and working with our warehouse staff to fill and pack.

You will ensure all orders are prepared each day correctly and on time.

You come up with creative and fun ideas, together with the founding team, to improve efficiency, and create a good atmosphere and culture in the warehouse.

You liaise directly with our delivery partners to oversee the delivery process and deal with any issues that may arise.

You contribute to and give suggestions for, the improvement of our logistics and warehouse activities.

Requirements

You have some transferrable experience in a responsible position, perhaps from a previous job in gastro/hospitality, or you already have warehouse/logistic experience.

You want to take responsibility and manage your own tasks.

You have a hands-on, nothing-is-impossible mentality.

You have some IT skills.

You are available to get started immediately.
