As Operations Manager BiMOS Frontend you will be leading the operations of a State-Of-The-Art Waferfab that produces the chips for highly reliable power semiconductor modules used for High Voltage DC Transmission systems, Windpower generation, Pumped Hydro solutions, eMobility, and many more. Together with your highly motivated team of Workcenter and Production Leaders you’ll be responsible for operational excellence and a reliable profitable output of the fab. Our flexible work practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow.Your responsibilities- Budgeting for operations cost centers and frontend investment budget, regularly review and forecast costs
- Evaluation, specification and implementation of new process steps and respective production equipment in compliance with the road map, capacity and cost targets
- Production of customer and engineering orders according to time and cost calculation, secure requested/promised on time delivery, achieve budgeted yield targets
- Ensure and develop the relevant business processes, e.g. process descriptions, documentation, implementation and regular reviews
- Act as interfaces to sales, logistics, planning, supply chain management, product engineering, R&D, quality, internal and external suppliers and customers
- Responsible for compliance with the code of conduct and the rules of work safety and environmental protection
- 10+ years management experience in electronics or semiconductor production industry
- Technical degree or degree in business administration
- Sound experience in managing of complex process chains
- Knowledge in ERP(SAP)- and MES-systems
- Long time experience in people management in production environment
- High interpersonal skills and assertiveness
- Good language skills in German and English
