We have strong growth ambitions to improve and further scale up our marketing and digital sales activities to generate a constant output of high-quality leads as well as design and implement digital only acquisition, cross- and up-selling all touch point journeys.

We are looking for a skilled Paid Media Ads Specialist with flair for creatives and copy, who has profound experience with digital ad formats used for lead generation across social Hplatforms, Display and SEA.

As Paid Media Ads Specialist, you will be responsible for optimizing the lead and sales generating paid ads activated by the Digital Marketing subchapter, act as a trusted sparring/consulting partner for team members and liaise directly with the business by participating in topic-related agile teams (Pods/Crews) via our Agile setup. You act as the subject matter expert, who drives and shapes the ad conceptualization, development, scalable production and continues optimization of campaign ads and assets.

You will be responsible for securing the briefing and scalable production of tactical campaign ads with agency support providing campaign managers with best-in-class ads to improve always on and tactical lead gen campaigns.

  • take ownership of the paid ads performance for lead generation and digital acquisition across all digital marketing campaigns, by securing best in class copy and creatives
  • increase performance with scalable personalized ads
  • automate ad production with agency support and tools (Sprinklr, smartly.io) to create more ads, smarter, better, faster
  • drive the production of ad variations for each platform from a single concept in close collaboration with the strategic initiative and brand management team (master concept responsible)
  • replace manual brief and creative production processes with dynamic templates while staying on-brand across the marketing funnel and across social platforms
  • analyze and demonstrate greater performance lift with ad intelligence, identifying key performance drivers across campaigns and initiatives and use as feedback loops to produce performance driven designs
  • drive horizontal and vertical iteration of ads and constantly improve performance
  • streamline collaboration and accelerate go to market by breaking down sols between media and creative agencies; centralize design, feedback, and data-driven creative reviews
  • monitor impact of digital campaigns against pre-defined OKRs and propose recommendations and actions to increase marketing ROI

Furthermore:
  • represent Digital Marketing/UBS with great stakeholder management and collaborative attitude – driving efficient production and implementation with agency end-to-end
  • act as a consultant for the Digital Marketing subchapter as well as the business: provide advice and guidance by conducting performance reviews, ensure efficient ad production and execution setup, best practices adoption, process and tools improvements that allow us to scale and test systematically
  • help ensuring that Digital Marketing delivers great growth/sales via relevant lead generation and acquisition campaigns
  • stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends through podcasts, blogs and be a pioneer within paid media, creative insights, and production

As Paid Media Ads Specialist you’ll be working in the Digital Marketing subchapter, within the Digital Sales Chapter, and physically join us in the office on Europaallee in Zurich. In our agile organization you will be collaborating with product and client need streams and key stakeholders to deliver on growth projects.

Your expertise

  • several years of experience within digital ads production and optimization activities
  • strong stakeholder and project management skills
  • profound understanding of how digital acquisition marketing works and understand how to implement optimizations through best practices
  • high data-literacy to derive actionable insights
  • structured and analytical way of working and good at communicating findings to relevant stakeholders
  • win-as-one attitude and ability to collaborate with the Digital Marketing subchapter to achieve common goals
  • good knowledge of UX and performance marketing is a plus
  • previously worked with Sprinklr or Smartly.io for creative or any other unified omni-channel platform for end-to-end marketing lifecycle
  • German and English business proficiency is a requirement

Furthermore, you:
  • are a fast learner and able to cope with a dynamic and changing environment in an agile setup
  • possess a higher education degree from a university/ FH, preferably in Business or Marketing
