We are strengthening our Swiss Affiliate and recruiting a Partnering and Business Development Specialist in Fribourg. Reporting to the Head of Business Development & Licensing Swiss Affiliate, your mission is to ensure the alliance management activities of OM Pharma Switzerland and establish long-term relationships with licensing partners, while supporting business development activities.


Your main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Lead the evaluation and business case development for in-licensing opportunities
  • Present business cases to management and to partner organization
  • Support the scouting and screening process for new in-licensing opportunities
  • Coordinate reviews of agreements and amendments with internal stakeholders and partner organization
  • Participate in business review meetings
  • Identify new areas of opportunities with existing partners
  • Ensure proper monitoring of contractual commitments and consolidate reporting to management
  • Maintain key contractual information in internal databases and continuously improve partner management solutions
  • Ensure that partnerships are managed according to internal framework, provide guidelines and tools

Business travels are required for this position, around 10-20% or working time.


To carry out this mission, we are looking for a person with the following profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences (Medical, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Healthcare) or Business, or equivalent educational background
  • 3 years of experience within the pharmaceutical or health care industry
  • First experience in market analysis and business case assessment
  • Project management skills
  • Business fluent in English, with good understanding of French and German
