Summary

This person will be responsible for the coordination of the external payroll providers of all European Incyte entities, mainly outside Switzerland.

In addition to that, she/he will be responsible for managing the payroll mailbox, answering employees’ requests of all kind.

The position is based in Morges, reporting to the Manager Accounting, Payroll and VAT Europe. She/he will work with the finance & accounting team to ensure accurate and timely monthly payroll process and related activities.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Perform the day to day coordination of external providers
  • Review the payslips provided by the external providers
  • Prepare the monthly journal entries for payroll
  • Prepare and follow-up fulfillment of various local (withholding) tax employee related documents
  • Timely respond employees’ questions about payroll
  • Manage data accuracy within the Incyte payroll tool (Applic8)
  • Maintain paperless record keeping
  • Support and drive execution of ad hoc projects
Requirements
  • Business education qualification with payroll knowledge (eg CFC Employé de Commerce)
  • 3- 5 years of accounting experience and payroll management in a similar position
  • Solid understanding of payroll activities
  • Quick learner, open to change, solution focused, collaborative, and driven
  • Ability to react quickly and handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Problem solving skills, detailed oriented
  • Must have the ability to work and communicate effectively with others
  • Fluent in English and another European language (French preferred)
