Wallee requires a team of experienced and versatile individuals to achieve our mission of providing the best payment experience to customers in the market. We use Scrum processes to organize our teams in multiple countries. We build technology leading payment systems that require a high degree of robustness, scalability and security. As we’re disruptors of the payment market we’re constantly pushing our solutions into new areas. Our people are working on a variety of projects ranging from big data systems to dedicated merchant integrations. At Wallee we believe that great products come from great thinkers.

Tasks
  • Develop, drive, and grow the organization’s culture to increase the coherence of the teams and the organization.
  • Engage in the hiring process and the onboarding process to improve it and to make the organization successful throughout all locations.
  • Set out the organization’s values.
  • Talk to the teams and team members on a day to day basis to understand their challenges, support them and evaluate their performance.
  • Collaborate with the line managers in making them more effective in developing their team members.
  • Develop and create strategies with which we can grow our organization to keep the positive aspects of an agile organization with flat hierarchies.
  • Establish and drive Star Reviews, Performance Reviews, SMART Goals, development targets and strategies for our employees to enable their full potential within our organization.
  • Establish and drive periodic employee surveys and develop measures for improvement.
  • Develop strategies to attract and retain talents in our organization.
Requirements
  • Experience in coaching, developing, managing and leading people in an agile organization structure.
  • Open, transparent and easy approaching personality with an understanding of other people’s emotions.
  • Ability to work in a team, self-motivation and commitment.
  • Empathic personality, with social competence and assertiveness.
  • Analytical competence and quick reading of people with an attention to detail.
  • Top notch communication skills in English. Our communication happens mostly in English. Experience with distributed teams is a plus.
  • Experience in organizations that provide technical products to their customers.
  • Experience with the Scrum process is a plus.
  • Availability to travel.
