In this role, you will support the Category and Business Development of HP’s Peripherals Portfolio. Peripherals Pricing Manager: Our truly diverse and international Personal Systems team is looking for a pricing specialist person for HP Peripherals Central Category team.

You will be first involved in the definition of the pricing processes and tools we want to put in place for HP Classics Peripherals to sustain the aggressive growth plans we have. You will then be defining the pricing strategy with product management and business management team to maximize our revenue and profitability for each product. The last part of the role is on executing and tracking the execution of the strategy in the different markets as well as adjusting the strategy based on the results

Responsibilities
  • Drive project team to build the right processes and tools to have a peripherals pricing strategy
  • Participate to cross peripherals pricing discussion with HyperX team
  • Leads cross-functional teams across the entire span of pricing activities
  • Contributes to priority projects around pricing and costing by adding creative insights and developing recommendations
  • Manages complex, time-sensitive pricing data and prepares synthesized pricing reports
  • Identifies cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key pricing decisions
Education And Experience Required
  • 6-10 years work experience in strategy, planning, operations, pricing, finance, or related functional area
  • Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent
  • Experience in peripherals business is a plus
Skills Required
  • Fluency in English
  • Extensive knowledge of pricing tools and processes
  • Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills
  • Ability to leverage new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to business analysis
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of how to analyze business problems using Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling
  • Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Very strong project management skills, including leading large, cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting
  • Developed leadership skills, including team-building, conflict resolution, and management
