Supply Chain Business Technology Product Lines (PLs) are responsible for the technological direction across business segments and serve as a critical point of contact for business and JJT. As a Business Analyst, you will work with the Pharma Plan Excellence and Operational Business Teams to identify, analyze and prioritize solutions for your product line and be responsible for the consistent implementation of these solutions across the business. You will exhibit strong influence and real passion for driving the organization towards consistent technology solutions aligned to our overall JJT strategy. You will need to continuously improve our processes and solutions ensuring that value is realized by the business through the JJT solution and capabilities. You will have a view of external Supply Chain IT capabilities in the market and how they can be applied to drive business value for J&J.

In this role, you will be part of a strong team for Pharma Foundational Planning Systems and Solutions Product Line. You will be responsible for developing and articulating our products and roadmaps and support the implementation of our large program portfolio. You will collaborate closely with our business partners to continually improve our end to end planning processes.

The role: Business Analyst, Global Pharma– Foundational Planning Products:
  • Support the implementation of roadmaps and priorities for Pharma Planning products Globally including platforms and applications
  • Understand the business’s needs and priorities from the product, support management of our intake and prioritization process.
  • Responsible for supporting not only the implementation of enhancements and smaller projects but also larger programs and projects within the team.
  • Support the team in “building the right thing”, realizing product line roadmap, goals & business value
  • Responsible for project oversight of product development initiatives
  • Improves return on investment by identifying and prioritizing the product features by business value
  • Negotiate with the business to see what items (story points) are built and which are backlogged based on capacity
  • Accountable for the quality of solution built
  • Understands development estimates and how levels of effort impact the priority of requirements
  • Supervises progress of product build in the context of the larger program
  • Reports back to the business on status on the delivery of features, functionality, and applications;
  • Collaborates closely with Technology Service to report the performance of applications
  • Partner with business owner to ensure delivery of the product SLAs
  • Review and approve changes to the Planning applications

Qualifications

To be successful, the following qualifications are required:
  • 4+ years of technology experience, with some business supply chain experience in a planning environment (APO and OMP systems, including namespace integration) within a manufacturing company, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Experience of working in projects deploying global Planning systems or complex data management processes in a multisector environment.
  • Some level of SAP ECC end user or project work.
  • Experience of implementing complex IT solutions in SNP Networks or Production plants in a regulated (SoX and GxP) sector
  • Experience in E2E Supply chain processes – e.g, Demand Planning, Supply Network Planning, Advanced planning capabilities
  • Experience in a regulated industry, ideally in a pharma environment
  • Experience working with/running large, culturally diverse, global teams
  • Experience driving business value through information technology
  • Ability to successfully lead multiple critical priorities/issues
  • Experience in working with multiple partners within a matrix organization
  • Ability to coach/grow peers and team members
  • fluent in English and another widely used language (e.g. Spanish, Portuguese, French)
