We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic professional for our entity in St Gallen as a Planner Artwork Implementation. You come with a certain supply chain or from a packaging design background, and you are passionate about the pharma industry?

Then we are looking for you as: Planner Artwork Implementation (m/w/d) 100%

Your Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Coordinate artwork changes for submission and implementation (INS/AV)
  • Frequent contact to all stakeholders of different departments to ensure delivery of goods on time
  • Support the artwork development process for new launch projects
  • Ensure that various data across multiple systems / sources are aligned and of very high quality
  • Ensure timely availability of artworks and support the supply planning teams to avoid stock outs in the market
  • Monitor and track artwork processes and feed into relevant KPI
  • Ensure professional and pro-active flow of information between all stakeholders but especially the supply planning team and global regulatory affairs
  • Support root cause analysis investigations to resolve issues
  • Lead or support artwork process improvement projects
  • Support to global regulatory affairs & other departments on artwork and packaging related questions
  • Ensure correct version of artworks for each production cycle
  • Prepare new revision levels and change master in ERP

Packaging & Artwork

  • Managing the implementation of artwork changes and align with key stakeholders Supply Planning, Global Regulatory Affairs, Quality and Customer Operations
  • Identify optimization potential of packaging material
  • Support maintenance and creation of artwork specifications (i.e. INS-AV, packaging specification, Change Control, PD Workflow)
  • Support process improvement initiatives to reduce lead time of end-to-end artwork creation
  • Maintain and update supply, destruction & coordination list of all ongoing changes to assure in time implementation of changes
  • Act as interface between all relevant stakeholders (see Organizational integration)
  • Participate / contribute or lead departmental and cross-functional projects
  • Meets timelines and proactively identifies potential delays and acts to minimize them
  • Resolves issues appropriately and in a custom oriented manner
  • Anticipate future needs to artworks and packaging materials
  • Lead the maintenance of productive and collaborative partnerships with design agencies, CMO

SAP related tasks

  • Ensure access to relevant information in SAP (GTIN and Technical Codes, bill of material, revision levels, change number) which are relevant for artwork creation
  • Prepare revision levels and change masters for upcoming Artwork updates

The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge, or the equivalent.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supply chain, manufacturing, packaging, or regulatory affairs function
  • Operating experience in project management
  • Fluent in English (written and verbally)
  • Excellent communication, planning and coordination skills
  • Excellent analytical and data management skills
  • Excellent MS Office skills

Preferred Requirements

  • Additional language skills, especially German are an advantage
  • Familiarity with packaging components and artwork designs
  • Knowledge about Oracle Agile, ERP systems and tracking tools
  • Familiarity in Information transfer
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry or in food industry
  • Experience in Design and packaging tools
