The Janssen Supply Chain, Large Molecule Manufacturing Platform is recruiting for a Director Strategy & Business support, ideally located in one of the globally located Large Molecule manufacturing sites: e.g. Leiden (NL): Cork (IRL): Malvern (USA).

To address the increasing growth, speed and complexity we need to transform to an agile & resilient supply chain to continue to serve our patients. Supply and demand dynamics, a new portfolio of products and new technologies, as well as accelerated digital needs create a VUCA environment for us.

This role will set and drive the strategy for the LM Platform and all LM manufacturing sites, as well as run strategic projects. The Director reports to the LM Global Platform Leader and is a member of the LM Leadership team. In this role the director will collaborate closely with other strategy leaders in the Janssen Supply Chain, to ensure consistency of approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the LM Platform manufacturing Strategy, 10-year strategic roadmap and key projects, cascade and program management
  • Run and support certain strategic projects and programs at platform level
  • Platform Agility Lead role (PAL): this is a new role that needs to be further shaped. Objective is to handle manufacturing capacity in a VUCA environment in a proactive manner
  • Decision Support & meeting facilitation. To carry out this role the Platform Support Lead can work with a Decision Support Lead and is accountable for oversight of this role.
  • Create a culture of collaboration, flexibility, and competitiveness by growing a global eye for business, industry knowledge, and enhanced skills and competencies that will drive increased employee engagement.

You are result oriented, structured and forward thinking, inspiring the Large Molecule leadership team. You are able to connect easily at all levels in the organization and will drive decision making and innovative thinking in this environment.
