Your field of responsibility


Credit Suisse established several large application platforms to globally host applications within the bank that provide a set of technical components, processes, tools, guidelines and services to enable high pace application development, to centrally operate and maintain applications.
The platforms are e.g. suitable for Java Enterprise Edition-based applications or providing a Container as a Service (CaaS) environment using Red Hat OpenShift. The Platform Consultant will act as a peer and SME to Application Developer Teams to assists during the initial onboarding, new business releases or migrations by understanding customer needs with a reflection on conditions of the standard platforms, providing technical/software architectural guidance/advice and is able to understand and analyze issues.

Platform Consulting is a global, diverse team, consisting of 12 team-members and distributed across 3 locations (Raleigh (US), Zurich (CH) and Pune (IN)), that acts as a single entity to assist the also globally distributed Application Development Teams that are using one of the platforms. Your skills and experience


As a counterpart to our Application Development Team customers, we’re looking for an employee with a senior developer background (approx. 5-8 years of experience) combined with adequate professional communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities as well as:

  • Strong general IT knowledge and background in concept, development & infrastructure
  • Experience in Java EE development and Application Server configuration, e.g. WLS
  • Experience in CaaS concepts
  • Experience in Kubernetes/Red Hat OpenShift
  • Fluent written and spoken in English
  • Team oriented, proactive and able to independently coordinate, organize and track tasks
