As the Platform Leader SAP Solution Manager you will be responsible for the overarching role SAP Solution Manager plays in connecting the various components of our complex SAP solution landscape. Furthermore you will also steer our process modelling & documentation within the OFP program, ensuring completeness and end-to-end consistency. This is a team effort and you are at your best, guiding a team of Business Analysts, External Consultants, Process Developers, and Data specialist to a simple & robust process design that supports all aspects of the life cycle management of the SAP Platform, from change request management to testing.

More specifically, in this role you will be responsiblefor:

• the management of SAP Solution Manager and the role it plays across the complete SAP landscape
• simple & robust solution design that links back to SAP best practices.
• the business support connected to SAP Solution Manager, including access handling, user education, troubleshooting, operation of solutions and service level fulfilment.
• a continuous improvement plan for SAP investments and its implementation via change request and release management.
• the budget for your dedicated SAP components including service level fulfilment and enhancement spend.
• application controls and documentation that supports business processes in an efficient way.
• managing external IT vendors including application management services, IT delivery services and software providers.
• Consistency of our SAP platform roadmap by usage of tools / toolsets e.g., Landscape Optimisation, ALM, ITSM, ITIL and more, not just limited to SAP application but to underlying foundation stack components like infrastructure.

In this role you will report to our Platform Area Manager at IKEA Supply and work closely with the programme management for Order and Finance Program, as well as the management teams leading the Data & Technology Management functions.

We expect you to have good knowledge of IT business support and application development. You are analytical and have a particular eye for distilling and documenting complex business scenarios, into robust process design, building a quick and effective work rapport with distributed team members.

You are highly motivated and effective in communicating, able to present even complex technology challenges in an understandable fashion, getting commitment all around.
