Our department is developing and operating Bühler Insights, a software platform for connected products and services and with it a portfolio of industry-leading software solutions for customers and for internal stakeholders. As a digital platform manager, you will be a key link between our agile teams and the product managers in the different business units at Bühler as well as to the central service portfolio management team.

Tasks

  • Managing the technology/platform feature portfolio of the digital platforms
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to manage the prioritization process for new platform features while maximizing the business value - as well as balancing request for new platform capabilities with enhancement of existing capabilities
  • Consulting and supporting internal stakeholders during the ideation and concept phase of new consumer-facing products and services
  • Acting as a change agent for agile product development and evidence-based decision making
  • Market analysis / competitor analysis
  • Defining of a coherent platform application structure as well conducting user research, interpreting usage statistics and incorporating customer feedback into future iterations of the platform
  • Continuously refining the product platform vision in accordance with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Supporting our sales force as a technical sales representative

  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Minimum 5 years experience in an industrial environment as well as in product management for software solutions or industrial automation
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience with agile development practices (experience with scaled agile e.g., SAFe, is a plus)
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Very good communication skills and ability to mobilize people without direct authority
