Your role

Are you detail oriented, even when multitasking? Do you know how to shine in a supporting role? We’re looking for someone like that to help us:

  • clearing of precious metals transfers in the Loco Zurich and Loco London Market
  • maintenance of client metal and custody accounts
  • processing of Precious Metals invoices
  • settling of various Precious Metals products
  • settling of Structured Products related to Precious Metals
  • matching and monitoring of Trade Confirmations
  • supporting processing of various products such as Foreign Exchange, Money Market/Fiduciary, Vanilla/Exotic Options and Structured Products.
  • processing of WM and IB clients for supported products
  • supporting internal Projects with excellent front2back knowledge

Your team

You’ll be working in the FXMM PM Cash and Clearing team in Opfikon.
We are a small team covering UBS Switzerland AG Zurich, UBS AG Zurich and UBS AG London Transfers and Pre Settlement activities for Precious Metals. We are also supporting the FX Pre Settlement team for FX, MM, SFX, Vanilla and Exotic Options products. Furthermore we are also the point of contact for our offshore colleagues, which are processing the UBS AG Zurich activities for Switzerland and London. The team has daily interaction with external clients, Trading/Sales and Middle-office, Operating Managers, Finance, Cash Management and IT.

Your expertise

  • relevant product knowledge
  • command of Microsoft Excel
  • knowledge of accounting principles and banking products
  • very good knowledge of German and English
  • detail-oriented, especially while multi-tasking
  • flexible and able to work under pressure and deliver output to tight deadlines and of a high standard
  • totally focused on client service and team collaboration
  • able to work pro-actively, cooperatively and as well as independently
  • an excellent communicator
  • able to successfully manage stakeholders/clients expectations
  • motivated, self-directed and driven (always staying up to date and improving)
  • a solid understanding of risk and know when to escalate risks/issues to senior management
  • able to support other teams on daily bases when necessary
  • support and/or lead projects in line with process improvement.
