We are looking for a Portfolio Management Officer to:

  • support the stream and crew leadership to efficiently manage their product portfolio in applicable toolsets (CA-PPM, BPX, GitLab, MS Teams), supporting the production and maintenance of project documentation and offering guidance and expertise where needed.
  • perform reporting across organizations, providing analysis and insights to respective crew and operating management team members, and senior management.
  • support PMO activities as required (e.g., project control, resource planning, effort estimation, strategic capacity planning, conflict resolution, data quality control, etc.)
  • leveraging available and relevant MI, identify, track, and escalate anomalies that indicate potential risk to the portfolio
  • manage the portfolio of initiatives by ensuring that the divisional portfolio reflects UBS strategy, by supporting QBR processes, and by actively partnering with the divisional portfolio management teams on various activities.
  • manage and participate in Annual Planning processes
  • manage ad hoc projects as they occur in support of the stream and crews

Your team

You will be working in the Center of Excellence Operating Management team that supports CDIO Group Functions Core Data Services, Core Group Services, and HR in either London or Zurich. We provide specialized operational and strategic support including vendor and contract management, financials, workforce, communication, and event organizations. As a Portfolio Management Officer, you will play an integral role in successful completion of initiatives ensuring strict alignment with UBS strategy and governance policies.

Your expertise

  • ideally 5 years of PMO experience support, ideally with experience in Financial Services
  • good understanding of operational processes and project methodology, preferably in an agile environment
  • great communicator with strong written communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • Excellent client relationship skills
  • solid organizational skills, known for hitting deadlines
  • highly motivated, able to work independently and apply own initiative
