Your field of responsibility


Join IS&P as Portfolio Manager in an exciting and entrepreneurial role. You will be responsible for the management of discretionary multi-asset-class solutions within the Instruction Engineering team based in Zurich. Instruction Mandates are Credit Suisse’s discretionary mandate solution for clients looking for a customized discretionary mandate solution. Your area of responsibility will cover the implementation of specific client instructions in the best possible way, and where necessary provide adequate alternatives. Thereby always complying with internal and external investment guidelines.
The development of customized investment proposals is also amongst your tasks. In your daily interaction with Client Portfolio Managers, Relationship Managers as well as internal stakeholders you always ensure best-quality service and support. Within Instruction Engineering, your contribution to projects to improve the status quo of tools and processes is very welcome. If you are able to automate tasks with the help of your programming knowledge, this would be seen as clear advantage.
Instruction Engineering is a fast growing asset base of 1.6bn AuM, comprising of various strategies of traditional investment approaches across all risk profiles. Your skills and experience


You will be the right for our role if you bring the following skills and experience:

  • A successful completion of a banking apprenticeship in combination with higher education or a university degree.
  • Experience in the financial industry, especially within investment or portfolio management, is preferred. However, applicants from other backgrounds with relevant skills will also be considered.
  • You possess strong interest in financial markets and macroeconomic concepts
  • You are fluent in German and English – Spanish, French or Italian are a plus.
  • IT skills (e.g. VBA, Python, SQL), while not necessary, are an advantage.
  • You are a solution oriented, motivated and reliable personality with a strong team spirit.
  • You work accurately and with the necessary attention to detail
