Our Security Solutions portfolio is embedded within the Regional Solutions & Services organization Europe. 19 European countries are assigned to Region Europe. Within the Security portfolio we offer camera surveillance, access control, intrusion and perimeter detection and integrated security management.

We are now looking for a motivated colleague who will contribute to Security Solutions Portfolio and become a key contact for our assigned countries in Europe. Your New Responsibilities

  • Steer nominated security product and application rollouts in region Europe in collaboration with our field counterparts in the countries, to ensure customer impact in new projects
  • Contribute to and regulate an internal network of security applications colleagues that share best practice and innovation, and execute rollout and product introduction strategies
  • You will initiate and work on cross-functional topics that create business impact in security applications, improve engineering workflows, or development service and business performance
  • Apply your market expertise and formal requirements gathering methods to guide a product feature backlog, which supports our business targets and maintains competitiveness
  • As a subject matter expert, you will support category management to evaluate and guide the 3rd party vendor portfolio for augmented portfolio and dedicated applications
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with the framework portfolio partners and their account managers
  • Collaborate with Service lifecycle for support of digital service business development
  • As a domain expert you will challenge, innovate, and review sales approvals on key customer projects
  • Through conducting learning sessions and customer presentations, you help establish field expertise and promote Siemens as a preferred partner

    • Your Skills And Experience

  • Degree in a technical field and an affinity towards growth with additional business qualifications
  • Experience in one of our core security branches, and on the way to become a recognized expert, ideally in the field of access control or video surveillance
  • Outstanding expertise in network principles, IT and virtual environments. Cloud architectures should form part of your newest vocabulary
  • First experience in business operations or sales and service processes is a plus
  • Self-motivation and ability to build sound working relationships and trust will ensure your success in this role
  • Proactive and positive attitude, willing to grow and able to deal with stress effectively
  • Ability to communicate sophisticated topics to customers, non-experts and senior management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English. Within an intercultural environment, additional European languages would be a plus
