Responsibilities

Works closely with the Global Portfolio Team, Portfolio Supply Strategy Director (PSSD), and Senior Portfolio Planning Manager (Sr. PPM) to accomplish the following:
  • Serves as a Supply Chain Planning representative on the Global Portfolio Team.
  • Works with the PSSD to set long term supply plans and inventory strategies for specific Active Ingredients (AI) in support of the portfolio end to end supply strategy.
  • Supports the IBP signature process:
    • Develops and maintains the Global Aggregate Supply Plans within the Planning System for technical and intermediates over the full IBP horizon (current year to current year + 2) for specific AIs in the portfolio.
    • Translates the supply demand balance into time-phased inventory projections over the IBP horizon; Monitors actual performance and engages in cross functional efforts to improve and resolve gaps vs. plan in performance.
    • Establishes, communicates, and enforces regional AI allocations aligned to business strategy, and ensure that issues related to manufacturing, supply chain or financial projections are resolved or escalated resulting in an approved financial forecast.
    • Presents at and may co-lead the monthly Portfolio Supply Review meeting
  • Represents the supply chain capabilities for the IBP horizon (current year-current year + 2) and long-term planning for the 10-year horizon. Ensures global alignment while working with the GPL, PSSD, Sr. PPM, and Regional Supply Chain representatives in the creation and execution of priorities during shortages and makes ongoing adjustments, including logistics plans.
  • Supports Change to Business/M&ISC projects as well as Active and Intermediate sourcing projects.
  • Serves as the focal point for communications with Master Schedulers on alignment between global and regional plans.
  • Supports Master Schedulers in troubleshooting and identifying solutions to ensure ERP data accuracy, adherence to inventory strategy, and accurate supply plans over the full IBP horizon. Advocates and coaches as needed to ensure adherence to the Global Planning Process.
Qualifications

Required:
  • BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, business, or technical field
  • 5 -7 years equivalent Supply Chain experience, including manufacturing or procurement
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Supply Chain Planning role
Preferred
  • APICS CPIM certification
  • Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, and/or Lean Practitioner
Skills
  • Proficient in application of planning tools and technology (SC system thinking)
  • Incorporates vision into daily actions
  • Sound base in MRP2/IBP/ERP technology and supply chain systems
  • Strong communication skills. Connects and integrates well with global and regional teams
  • Uses influence and prioritization capabilities to build and execute plans
  • Strong at problem solving; develops options based on analytics and data
