Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology Postdoctoral Position in Molecular Pharmacology
100 %A postdoctoral research position is available at the Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology of the University Hospital Zurich. Applicants should have a solid background in molecular biology and cell culture techniques, experience with immunological methods would be an additional asset.

Your responsibilities

Main focus is the pharmacological characterization and genetic regulation of drug and organic anion transport proteins in human tissues, including the role of transporters in the pathogenesis of drug-induced liver and kidney injury.

Your profile

Applicants are required to have obtained a Ph.D. in molecular biology within the last 6 months and to have published at least two first-author publications in highly ranked journals. Excellent English language skills are mandatory, with basic German language skills. Computer skills should extend to all MS Office applications as well as genetic and statistical analysis software.
