In this position you will support the development and implementation of value-based pricing strategies with focus on end-to-end new products pricing for all Sonova Hearing Instruments brands. You will define, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, the right wholesaler (WHS) price per product within the Sonova portfolio to maximize our margin and revenue.

Your tasks
  • Create and implement tools and processes to facilitate the launch pricing process and lifecycle pricing changes for all brands and channels including the development and alignment of global pricing strategies with internal stakeholders (e.g. Product Managers, Market Insights, Brand Controlling, VP Marketing, and VP Sales)
  • Roll out defined Pricing Process in full and on time
  • Develop price guidance and tools for new products and platforms for all WHS brands
  • Prepare necessary pricing analytics, reports, and presentation for Management Board approvals
  • Coordinate with Launch Team (Launch Program Manager) the necessary agenda for successful product launch (focusing on pricing needs as part of 4 Ps of Marketing)
  • Support the development and implementation of global pricing frameworks and strategies for the organization
  • Run specific pricing projects supporting the Director Strategic Pricing
  • Drive execution of defined pricing strategies such as building brand price positioning and value-based pricing strategies to guarantee coherence of Sonova pricing architecture
  • Gather necessary marketing intelligence in coloration with the Market Insights team to support price positioning in accordance with competitive law requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement such as identifying pricing process gaps and suggests process optimization
  • Manage pricing system and drive continuous development to reduce manual work on central and local levels

Your profile
  • University degree in Business, Economics or Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in Pricing or correlated areas such as Controlling and Sales Operations
  • Good knowledge of pricing principles, notably in B2B industry, with ability to present pricing analysis reports to relevant stakeholders
  • Ability to synthesize complex and large amounts of data into broader themes and trends
  • Process and result-oriented mindset and ability to quickly analyse and assess situations
  • Basic knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, etc.)
  • Familiar with continuous improvement processes
  • Ability to work in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
  • Excellent English skills, any other language is a plus
