Working with Motions, you will be responsible for developing and executing an end-to-end strategy and associated tactics for effective pricing models, processes and initiatives within the global MOSE go to market plans. Improve profitability while driving order growth and satisfying customers. Reporting to the Head of Global Marketing & Sales, MOSE, you will be joining up the organization across MOSE and also between businesses to develop and demonstrate value based initiatives and pricing programs. Initially this will form part of the MOSE division project office where pricing excellence will be managed as a ‘start up’ function within the business and will require strong collaboration and teamwork.

Your responsibilities

  • Managing and developing an overall MOSE end to end pricing strategy directly and with collaboration through the value chain to meet MOSE and MO business objectives.
  • Driving profitability improvements while supporting volume growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the building of a pricing community across MOSE and with other divisions and businesses to share and learn best practices while supporting common themes.
  • Developing and building a continuous improvement program for pricing initiatives.
  • Building practical pricing models to increase hit rate, grow the pipeline and increase market share and customer retention.
  • Driving simplicity and transparency through the value chain while building trust and confidence in pricing topics.
  • Speed and agility in implementing programs and initiatives and deployment of models and processes.
  • Management in implementing pricing tactics and to provide support to MOSE stakeholders in successful execution.

Your background

  • Qualification in a management or commercial discipline at degree level or equivalent.
  • Hands on experience with pricing strategies and tactics
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Result orientated.
  • Ability to create, develop and evaluate practical solutions from complex topics with multiple stakeholder interests.
  • Knowledge and experience working in a sales, marketing, or business development environment ideally close to customers and markets.
