Work closely with marketing and product management, engineering, field sales organization, key business partners and the senior management team, to maximize the profitability of the business by systematically employing key pricing levers. You will manage the pricing and reimbursement strategies for current and future products. You will analyze market drivers and competition to determine price of new products. You will deliver financial impact by deploying best-in-class marketing tools and framework.

The Pricing Manager will be based either in Rolle, Leicester, or Neuss and will lead a team of pricing analysts to support the price strategies in the EMEA.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business GMs and Offering Management leaders to develop the price strategy and policy. Gain agreement of the differentiated price actions, timelines and effectively execute.
  • Be the pricing thought leader for the business. Be responsible for improving the pricing IQ of the organization. Lead training to improve adoption of price intelligence tools.
  • Own the development of the annual price plan. Develop a pipeline of price actions to support meeting the annual goal. Track progress and effectiveness of the actions.
  • Be accountable and oversee the list price review process. Coordinate pricing activities of the pricing analysts, marketing and sales resources to evaluate and provide recommendations on list pricing actions. Utilize best practice price analytics to develop your recommendations.
  • Develop pricing capabilities to support the analysis and price strategy for project pricing.
  • Collaborate with Pricing Operations to lead the development of critical pricing infrastructure. This will focus on price setting and discount approval process and implementation of price analytics.
  • Develop / enhance pricing dashboards to quantify impact of changes to existing product price, new product price and the impact of inflation. Evaluate the profitability by product line & region and provide recommendations.
  • Accountable for developing and implementing programs to minimize transactional price erosion. Develop actions to support the effective use of discounting, rebates, freight recovery and payment terms to support profitable growth.
  • Assess current list price strategy setting and delivery processes with recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications

  • Min of 5 years of pricing or product management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

Desired

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Marketing or MBA
  • Software pricing strategy and execution experience
  • Proven data analysis experience and solid grasp of pricing models & techniques. Experience utilizing Tableau, SAP BI or MSFT Excel.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills by leading direct or cross-functional global teams through complex projects.
  • Self-starter and able to work with limited supervision
  • Demonstrated problem solving and project management skills
  • Experience with industrial channel and OEM product sales
  • Professional Pricing Society – CPP certification
