Process and Enterprise Resource Planning Lead

In this role you will be collecting and understanding business processes in various location in MOSD (Motion System Drives), evaluate which processes are (to be) global and which stay local. Evaluate fit to SAP best practices. Role also includes change management and implementation of future ERP program in MOSD. (Until such time that ERP program starts, the role holder would also be the MOSD ERP program lead, representing MOSD in business level ERP activities Reporting to the Global Operations Manager, you will contribute to the continued global success of the business.

Your responsibilities

• Map current global and local processes in MOSD
• Facilitate decision around which processes are global (i.e. cross site) and which not
• Actively work with MOSD stakeholders to ensure that future processes are as aligned as possible with SAP best practices (to reduce need for customization)
• Ensure that MOSD business needs are fulfilled in ERP program
• Represent MOSD in MO level projects/programs related to ERP where applicable (and related areas, e.g. PLM, MES)
• Develop target architecture for ERP and related systems from MOSD perspective
• Collect & understand business needs connected to Division Strategy – validate with MOSD management
• Develop alternatives, run validation, assure alignment and agreement with stakeholders
• Ensure that both global and local distinct business needs in major countries are fulfilled (e.g. China, India, Switzerland, Finland, US, Poland, Estonia)
• Develop target architecture
• Build roadmap in line with MO and ABB ERP program
• Manage global implementation
• Ensure proper governance is followed in all related projects within scope (budgeting, reporting and project execution)

Your background

• A Bachelor’s- or Master’s degree in Business administration or IT
• 7+ years of experience in IT, ERP management roles, preferrable with team lead knowledge
• Good knowledge of business, business processes and IS
• Excellent multicultural collaboration skills
• Patient, stress tolerant and persistent continuous developer. Pro-active, independent and can carry the responsibility
• Ability to move between high level and detail level topics as needed to solve task at hand
• Cultural awareness, good communication, good argumentation and ability to convince and sell
• Fluent written and spoken English
