About Our Client

Our client is a well-known manufacturer of separation and mixing equipment and technology and are mainly delivering into the Fine Chemicals industry. As they want to grow their business, we’re looking to recruit an experienced Process Engineer to be based in the surrounding of Basel and to develop new clients on a European level.

Tasks
  • Contribution to the strategic development of clients on a European level within the Process Engineering business
  • Process Design of equipment and units for thermal separation
  • Technical Support of the Sales and Application Engineering team, especially when it comes to highly complex systems and applications
  • Performance of Basic Engineering work (Process Engineering)
  • Project Management responsibility with regards to technical and commercial issues
  • Support commissioning and optimization of units for thermal separation
  • Optimize Process Engineering processes for chemical plants
  • Travel up to 20-30% internationally Profile
  • Technical education and/or studies in Engineering, preferably within Process Engineering (e.g. as Process Engineer, Chemical Engineer or similar)
  • At least five years of experience in Plant/Equipment Design within an international environment
  • First experience in Sales would be a big advantage
  • Profund understanding of Separation Technologies and Plant Design is a Must
  • You work independently and think in a structured way
  • IT Skills: Aspen and/or CHEMCAD
  • Fluency in English is required, other languages such as German or French are highly benefitial
