On behalf of our Manufacturing client, we are looking for a Procurement Manager (M/W/D). This role is permanent and is based near Fribourg.

Main Tasks
  • You will be responsible for the disciplinary and professional management of the purchasing coordinators and you will act as the contact person for the BU Components for the planning of requirements
  • You will be responsible for monitoring the planning parameters of the purchased parts stocks and for monitoring the indicators
  • You will monitor the Backlog-Recovery-Plan and conduct discussions with suppliers
  • You identify and monitor parts, conclude new contracts and are responsible for start and end of series parts
  • You ensure the availability for the start of assembly and production orders
  • You will lead the shop floor in the production/assembly department and collaborate on internal and inter-group purchasing projects
  • You monitor design changes in the series life cycles and the market capacities of suppliers
  • You lead run-at-rate analyses at suppliers, follow up on improvement measures and participate in evaluations regarding lead times and quantities
  • You will define the procurement strategy in terms of workload, system parameters and storage, and optimise purchasing processes and interfaces
Your Profile
  • You have a degree in industrial engineering, business administration or equivalent
  • You are specialised in the field of statistics and run-at-rate analysis and have experience in team management
  • You already have experience in the field of industry, production and planning as well as in the monitoring of KPIs, especially as a Key User
  • You have an excellent knowledge of German and French and you are fluent in written and spoken English
  • You have a perfect command of MS Office and MS Sharepoint and you have good knowledge of an ERP system
