Procurement Manager

We are looking for a Procurement Managerwho sources raw materials on a regional or local level, manages the supply market in the area of responsibility, closely and actively interacts with the businesses and other stakeholders, manages suppliers, and actively participates in the performance management of the regional category.

Verantwortlichkeiten

• Source raw materials in the area of responsibility.
• Negotiate and conclude deals in accordance with delegated responsibility.
• Identify & execute improvement potentials, challenge status quo, de-specification, bundling, demand pattern, innovation.
• Conduct market research and proactively find new suppliers and alternative sourcing concepts.
• Monitor and analyze the market development and supply availability; forecast prices of strategic spend segments.
• Strive for excellence in procurement and sustainable sourcing.
• Drive projects, risk management, saving levers, reducing CO2 emissions under scope 3.
• Create and maintain contracts, master data etc. in SAP.
• Execute agreements with the suppliers (contracts, NDA, QNS).

Anforderungen

• BA/MA degree in Business Management or Procurement, ideally combined with chemical or engineering knowledge.
• Broad experience in business and/or procurement positions is required.
• Experience working in different cultural environments or fields of business, or comparable level of exposure on handling complex portfolio.
• Technical experience or education is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent in English - other languages are desired.
• Proven negotiation skills and experience in contract negotiations & management.
• Profound analytical skills and good MS-Office and SAP knowledge.
