My duties

  • Help setting up tools for medical devices
  • Define, establish and optimize cybersecurtiy & privacy process
  • Create/set up SOPs, work instructions, templates and checklists, necessary tooling
  • Be liaison between product cybersecurity team and Quality Management
  • Product risk management, plan, drive and coordinate risk management activities
  • Document risks, manage their handling with product development teams
  • Vulnerability management and monitoring
  • Plan, coordinate and track vulnerability handling
  • Communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholder
  • Monitor laws, regulations, guidance, best-practices

My qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of vulnerability management process (including vulnerability monitoring, disclosure and handling) and practical experience setting it up for medical device products
  • Preferably experience of tailoring cybersecurity risk management to compliance requirements for non-medical devices
  • In-depth knowledge of processes and tools for management of 3rd-party components (SOUP) and their cybersecurity vetting
  • Preferably experience with integration of secure programming practices, security testing and vulnerability management into agile development processes
  • Experience in organization of product cybersecurity risk management for outsourced projects
  • Knowledge in Polarion is preferred
  • Experience in data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc) and cybersecurity certifications (e.g. HITRUST) are a plus
  • Languages: English is mandatory, German would be a plus
