Our control platforms and automation solutions revolutionize our customer plants worldwide, both in the food and mobility sector.We are now seeking to hire a highly motivated Product Manager who is eager to drive the development of our innovative automation solutions in collaboration with the business and manage our Automation product portfolio holistically, throughout the whole product life cycle.Tasks
  • Market Intelligence: Monitoring and analysis of global market trends, competitors, technologies and services
  • Evaluation of business ideas as well as assessment and strategic support for the platform automation R&D
  • Contributing to and creating market and product strategies, business plans and market specifications
  • Stakeholder management for the involved business areas, joint requirements definition and evaluation for our automation platforms
  • Continuous monitoring of product portfolio performance and competitiveness
  • Sales support (technical articles, customer events, brochures, etc.)
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in capital goods industry and product management (incl. digital services)
  • Market focus (customer understanding, market-oriented way of thinking) with the ability to identify market trends and to compile competitive benchmarks
  • Know-how in industrial process automation and a very good technical understanding (mechanical engineering, automation, digital, service) as well as business literacy
  • Ability to manage the assigned product portfolio independently, across the entire lifecycle
  • Fluent in English (level C1 or equivalent), proficiency of additional languages would be a plus
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in leading and managing development projects effectively within a matrix-organizations
  • Very good written and oral communication skills, including the ability to hold presentations and interface effectively with internal and external stakeholders
