To support our Product Management Marketing department at our headquarters in Schaffhausen we are looking for a

PRODUCT MANAGER MARKETING

(M/F/X – 100%)

Start: September 2021

Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the product strategy (5 years perspective) for all sports watches families (Pilot, Ingenieur, Aquatimer)
  • Perform all strategic tasks for new launches, such as performance analysis of existing collections, competitor benchmarking, quality issue analysis, positioning of the product family, analysis of target clients, definition of target pricing, product naming and legal validation
  • Identify strategic questions related to the sports watches portfolio, lead the preparation of analysis and elaboration of recommendations and present to the executive committee during regular product strategy meetings
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the luxury watch market and specifically the sports watches segment, ensure knowledge transfer to all related departments

Launch Implementation

  • Coordinate product launches and MarCom activation, provide information on sales arguments, product features and availability
  • Act as point of contact for all sports-watches related questions for colleagues at headquarters and on the global platforms
  • Lead Special Editions projects and product-related cross-functional projects

Product Presentations

  • Represent IWC and the team Product Management Marketing in various product presentations (trade fairs, press presentations, viewings for Very Important Customers)
  • Create presentations for different communication channels together with the in-house Creative Center or agencies

Product Information Management

  • Take over the lead for the “Product Information Management” system and overall responsibility for data quality and timelines
  • Work closely with Richemont IT, the IWC PIM coordinator and all relevant parties for the definition of interfaces to other applications (website, apps, sales tools, etc.) and for the general enhancement of the system
  • Lead interns or dedicated capacities, who are responsible for the entry of product data

Your Profile

  • University degree on master’s level with a major in Marketing / Management
  • First experience in Product Management (preferably Luxury, Automotive, FMCG)
  • Knowledge of standard computer programs, basic knowledge of SAP and product data management is a plus
  • Passion for watches and luxury watch brands and an interest in technical products
  • Trustworthy and outgoing personality who is not afraid to discuss regularly with members of the executive committee
  • Very well-organized, structured way of working and the ability to work independently as a "self-starter"
  • Good networking skills within the organization, strong team player
  • Native German speaker with business proficiency in English, French is a plus
