We’re looking for a Product Owner (w/m), Pension Solutions to:

  • have the overall responsibility for the strategy, roadmap and OKRs (Objective and Key results) as Product Owner of Pension Solutions Vested Benefits in our agile pod
  • deeply understand the needs of private and corporate clients, act as their voice within the Pod and prioritize epics and user stories in the backlog accordingly to achieve business goals
  • be overall responsible for creating impactful change to our clients through the delivery of product improvements, while ensuring the high quality and compliance of the product with risk and security policies
  • mitigate impediments to the team’s goals, align across pods and with crew leads and act as your pod’s ambassadors towards internal stakeholders and clients
  • motivate and energize pod members and contribute to their growth and well-being
  • define the set of necessary competencies in the pod, in cooperation with the crew leads and chapter leads and provide regular feedback to ensure high performance

Your team

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be working in the Pension Solutions team in Zurich within the Agile Delivery Organization of UBS. Our vision is to make the client interaction as convenient as possible during the entire client lifecycle – easy, fast and seamless. Our mandate includes pillar 2 and pillar 3a products (accounts and investment fund solutions) for the Swiss retirement market. We are responsible for the entire process chain of the product, from customer needs to the operational management of the pension foundations. We develop new products in close cooperation with IT and optimize them throughout their entire life cycle. We work and organize ourselves in cross-divisional agile teams and within flexible working methods and models.

Your expertise

  • master or bachelor degree or equivalent, ideally in business administration
  • delivery complex products to clients, ideally within the financial industry or the retirement market
  • team player with an enthusiastic and proactive personality, a true agile mindset and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • creative, curious, interested in trends, digitalization and technology
  • working in agile environments with strong understanding of agile delivery frameworks and product ownership (such as performing product owner role in a scrum team) is an asset
  • strong active listening and communication skills to build networks and partnerships at all levels
  • fluent German and English language skills
