In order to reinforce our Production Technical Support Team, we are looking for a skilled, organized, and pragmatic engineer with a hands on approach.

Your main responsibility will be to support the Production and Packaging department by leading improvement projects related to equipment or processes in order to increase Quality and Productivity.

This is a multi-facet role:

Investigations:

  • Analyze and support day-to-day base business (Packaging & Bulk manufacturing) in regards to Vifor quality procedures based on cGMP standards and performance requirements
  • Support/lead investigations linked to quality or performance issues in order to avoid reoccurrence
  • Ensure investigations are well documented and ready to be presented during Health authorities’ inspections

Project Management:

  • Coordinate projects with internal departments and other project stakeholders
  • Coordinate change requests for internal and/or customer requests
  • Support Qualification department into equipment qualification
  • Support Technical Customer Request process for quotations

Process analysis and improvements

  • Propose, Support & Lead improvement projects in order to improve line performance and reduce deviations
  • Ensure employees are well trained to the new processes introduced by the projects

For this challenge, we are searching for a dynamic, rigorous, and social person bringing the following profile:

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, “Generalist” Engineering (Microtechnique) or related domain
  • Ideally 5 years of experience in a Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Manufacturing support role
  • GxP Compliance Knowledge and/or Pharma industry experience a plus
  • Lean/Six sigma certification an asset
  • High proficiency on office tools (Excel, Power point) and IT in general,
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills associated with strong team work orientation
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral, with all kind of stakeholders (executives, managers, peers and operators)
  • Knowledge of process mapping methodologies
