OverviewAs a Production Technician within the Manufacturing Department of Andrew Alliance, we will rely on you to manufacture Robotic Instruments and connected devices which are used by our customers worldwide. Our innovations enable significant advances in a wide array of applications including Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Biomedical, Food safety, Environmental, Academic and Government industries. We believe in the value of personal development and provide the necessary support, time and tools for our operations team to pursue this.ResponsibilitiesIn this exciting job opportunity, you will collaborate with a diverse team who are accountable for the assembly / sub-assembly of Robotic Instruments and the execution of software tools. The position would suit an enthusiastic team worker who is seeking a rewarding career with the opportunity of progression.As part of a team, you will be responsible for:
  • Assembly of Robotic instruments, including mechanical alignment, various gluing operations and cabling, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies
  • Responsibility in executing calibration and validation procedures by using an expert system software.
  • Processing of data by means of the excel software
  • Generate documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
  • Involved in all products flow as reception, stock movement, inventory, material preparation
  • Be creative in identifying productivity improvements, efficiency and high levels of quality.
  • Develop strong working relationships with team members and other departments.
QualificationsQualifications:
  • Educated to CFC or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of English is mandatory
  • Work on own initiative and pay close attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A flexible work ethic and enjoys working in a team environment.
  • A keenness to develop and grow
Desirable but not essential:
  • A Third level qualification in a physics / electro or mechanical engineering
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Conventional machining and metrology experience
