Professionalizing activities coordinator
PERIOD OF CONTRACT: ONE YEAR CONTRACT (POTENTIALLY RENEWABLE)
ACTIVITY RATE: 80 %

The Geneva Academy provides postgraduate education, conducts academic legal research and policy studies, organizes training courses and expert meetings. We concentrate on branches of international law that relate to situations of armed conflict, protracted violence and protection of human rights. We currently offer three master programmes as follows:
- The LLM in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights (LLM)
- The Master of Advanced Studies in Transitional Justice, Human Rights and the Rule of Law (MTJ)
- The Executive Master in International Law in Armed Conflict (EXMas)
General description of the position
As Professionalizing Activities Coordinator, you will be in charge of the development and the sustaining of the network of partner organizations and ensure the managing of internships for all Masters. Mentoring students and managing alumni.
Mission and activities
- Coordinating internships for our master programmes
- Conducting career workshops and individual counselling for students
- Developing and manage our alumni community
- Supporting the Management
Candidate’s profile
- University Master degree or equivalent
- Experience in career management or coaching an asset
- Minimum 4 years of experience with the International Geneva including IOs, NGOs, UN agencies and diplomatic missions
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to coordinate and networking’s skills
- Good Knowledge of IT tools
- Excellent level of English and fluent French
- A good team spirit
- Proactive and autonomous
- Flexible (can work in the evening or on weekends)
