For our client an international biotechnology company, we are looking for a high motivated

Project Accounting Specialist

Ihre Herausforderung

  • Ensures correct Cost Breakdown Structure coding is utilized for requisitions, purchase orders, invoices and for internal man-hours booking.
  • Invoice processing to include detailed reviews, investigating billing issues and identifying overages ensuring contract terms are adhered too.
  • Ensures timely release of invoices for submission for payment.
  • Works in coordination w/ Accounts Payable Shared Services Center.
  • Acts as Unifier System Administrator and provides adequate trainings and support for users.
  • Assists in month end activities (accruals, vendor reconciliations)
  • Oversees the Monthly cost reconciliation between Unifier and SAP
  • Works in coordination with Procurement and our EPCM partners or other key vendors, as required.
  • Responds to ad hoc requests for data and data analysis.
  • Assists in project close out activities including capitalization of assets.
  • Assists Cost Controllers as and when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Ihre Kompetenz

Education: Commercial Apprenticeship Profile E/M or Swiss Matura Diploma in economics
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in project accounting for large (> 20 Mio CHF) projects. Preferable to also have experience being part of a team cost controlling on large scale projects
  • IT skills: Very good skilled with Project management software as Unifier, SAP and Excel
  • Languages: Business fluency in German and English are required
  • General skills:
o Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
o Communicative person able to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
o Able to deal with Ambiguity - can conform to shifting priorities, and demands
o Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced environment
o Strong written and oral communication skills.
