We are looking for a project engineer to support our polymer machining and processing business in Klingnau. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring a high manufacturing level through quality control and process optimization. Additionally, for handling challenging customer requests and engineering projects. Do you have experience working on and managing engineering projects and deep knowledge of polymers/fiber reinforced composites – come and join us today. Your responsibilities
  • Technical support of the production
  • Management of development projects (internally or in cooperation with customers)
  • Introduction of new production processes, definition of production parameters
  • Material testing (thermal/mechanical/electrical) and evaluation within the scope of developments and for quality assurance
  • Creation of test reports and test protocols (according to customer requirements)
  • Implementation of process improvements, process optimization
  • Failure analysis
  • Ensuring the necessary quality tests in the laboratory
  • Engineering
  • Implementation of the management systems ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
Your background
  • Engineering degree; (e.g. mechanical engineering or materials technology)
  • In-depth knowledge of plastics/composite materials
  • Experience in active project work and management
  • Knowledge in measurement and laboratory technology
  • Hands-on mentality
  • PC knowledge (Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge in Solidworks advantageous
  • SAP knowledge advantageous
  • Languages: German (fluent)/English
