As a Project Engineer, your main responsibility will be to provide technical solution and operational assistance to the NR pilot plant and accelerator areas with excellent understanding of the various process and packaging equipment in place in our Pilot Plant. You will also elaborate medium to long term strategy for the renewal of our equipment parc following the new industry trend.

A day in the life of a Project Engineer
  • Proactively propose and develop new technologies to deliver a quality and a cost competitive advantage
  • Explore other industries to see what exists and could be adapted to Nestlé Research needs and on a later stage adapted to our various business
  • Provide project management expertise and being able to communicate to Stakeholder the projects progress
  • Lead and manage knowledge building and business-related project activities with a proactive participation
  • Provide to a certain extend technical support to other NPTC’s and R&D facilities in close collaboration with the NR projects for cross fertilization technologies and operation effectiveness to enhance sustainable solution
  • Demonstrate leadership in Capex project management and implementation
  • Be able to coach people from various functions who are not directly reporting to you so that they can deliver best performance
What Will Make You Successful
  • Mechanical engineer with proven experience in concept development
  • Mastering CAD software (preferably Inventor)
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of R&D and factory experience
  • Experience in Filling & Sealing technologies is a plus
  • Project Management experience with PMP certification is a plus
  • Proven record of successfully industrial implementation of projects in R&D and/or factories
  • Experience in food industry
  • Ability to work in teams and leadership qualities
  • Fluent in English
