In order to complete our Project Management Office, we are looking for a Project Manager dedicated to Agricultural Sciences.

A day in the life of a Project Manager in Agricultural Sciences
  • Lead complex large-scale agricultural research and Innovation projects with an entrepreneurial mindset and passion for operational excellence;
  • Engage with partners, stakeholders, clients and decision makers: you will plan and lead projects and synchronize cross-functional & multidisciplinary teams embracing details and ambiguity while keeping a general view to reduce complexity and to strive for rapid but informed management decisions
  • Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization: you will ensure that all relevant stakeholders are regularly apprised of project status, challenges, opportunities and action plans
  • Create alternative scenarios and adapt project plans to ensure project performance in terms of quality, speed, budget, and impact
  • Lead by example: coach other project managers in the field as well as project team members to deliver the highest value

What Will Make You Successful
  • At least five years’ experience in the management of progressively complex projects, including the management of large-scale cross-functional & multidisciplinary projects with high business impact
  • M.Sc. in agricultural, environmental, social or related sciences
  • Experience in FMCG industry, in R&D and or Operations / Manufacturing
  • Integrate system innovation as well as Consumer, Customer and Business Opportunity thinking into projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated resilience, agility and ability to solve problems
  • Experience in the management of multi-cultural teams and of external collaborations & partnerships
  • Excellent level of English
  • Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, ITIL, COBIT)
