To support our Architecture department at our headquarters in Schaffhausen we are looking for a

PROJECT MANAGER BRAND ARCHITECTURE

(M/F/X – 100%)

The Project Manager Brand Architecture manages architectural projects in planning and construction of Shop-in-Shops and Boutiques for IWC Schaffhausen. The position reports to the Department Manager Architecture. The Architecture department is located within the Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create layouts & develop design proposals both in 2D and 3D of IWC’s global boutiques and Shop-inShops following corporate guidelines and standards and in collaboration with cross functional teams to deliver design solutions supporting business objectives
  • Project-lead in all architectural and construction activities related to the renovation and creation of a new boutique/Shop-in-shop
  • Supervise the construction planning and its execution, ensure perfect quality of delivery
  • Lead and coordination of the Execution Phase work closely with the local architect to complete the final CD set with the MEP, Structural and Furniture drawings
  • Lead the tender phase with the local architect and local SDP team. Review scope of work with bidding GC and millworkers
  • Supervise the construction planning and its execution, ensure perfect quality of delivery
  • Ensure timely ordering and delivery of owner supplied items
  • Oversee integration of displays and visual merchandising programs, in collaboration with Creative, Visual Merchandising and Operations teams
  • Responsible for the cost tracking of the project, ensure financial planning in close collaboration with finance team
  • Responsible for the turnover to retail and follow up and completion of all items on the punch list
  • Responsible for smooth and regular communication to Senior Leadership, Management and any other entity involved in the projects

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or equivalent education in Project Management (e.g. PMP) with professional experience in Store Development
  • Minimum of two years experience in Architecture or Interior Design (planning and implementation of architectural projects as well as negotiation and buying of architectural services)
  • Experience in planning and implementation of luxury retail boutiques is a plus
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Analytic thinking and well-structured working approach
  • Ability to manage projects remotely and confidently communicate in a global structure
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language
  • Good knowledge of ArchiCAD, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
  • Strong personality with a pronounced hands-on mentality
