Project Manager external API Supply (f/m/d) based in Schaffhausen

(Permanent)

Overview

The Project Manager will join the External Supply Management team. The team is responsible for life cycle management projects of APIs supplied to external customers and supporting the business by managing and coordination of internal and customer requests with the related departments and disciplines.

The Project Manager will also look for continuous improvement and new business opportunities and interact with customers and different internal teams and stakeholders (BU SM API and solids, Technical Operations, QC, QA, Regulatory Affairs, logistics, external contractors etc) to contribute to new solutions.

Further Responsibilities And Duties Are
  • Oversee and maintain the manufacturing process, specifications and analytical test methods for External Supply products.
  • Handle customer relationship and delivering technical support to customers.
  • Support the customer forecast and demand planning process and provide input for production planning.
  • Coordinate and align External Supply activities with the JSC Business Unit SM API - Solids.
  • Maintain relationship with external contractors (manufacturing and R&D activities).
  • Find and evaluate cost and/or quality improvement opportunities (analytical methods, manufacturing processes, etc..) .
  • Define implementation strategy for process, specification and method changes in collaboration with other departments.
  • Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs and Sales and Marketing to ensure required regulatory filings are in place and maintained.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree or higher with chemical background
  • Experience preferred in Healthcare industry
  • Experience in Analytical Method Development or analytical testing of APIs
  • Interest in manufacturing and business aspects and technology
  • Eager and capable to learn quickly
  • Agile, proactive and autonomous work stile
  • End-to-end mind-set and strong customer focus
  • Project management skills (cross functional teams)
  • Organizational, planning and prioritization skills
  • Oral and written communication skills in German & English
