MSC Cruises, the world’s third largest and fastest growing cruise line, is hiring a Project Manager to be inserted within the Port Development & Shore Activities department. In this role, you will be leading multiple projects, collaborating with cross-functional team, aiming to achieve Company and Departmental’ s targets.

  • + 10 years of experience in Project Management (experience in Construction)
  • Experience in management consulting
  • Proven experience in successful delivery of multiple projects, as well as process improvement and analytics
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects
  • Previous experience in complex hospitality projects and/or projects in airports, terminals
  • Previous experience in facility management and asset maintenance a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to come up with solutions to loosely defined business problems; put structure to unstructured problems
  • Strong in governance skills, i.e., in managing business scope and technical requirements and prioritizing project work
  • Self-motivated, organized and capable of meeting quick deadlines.
  • Data driven and capable of analyzing and effectively communicating results.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written. Any additional European language is an advantage.
  • Ensure all projects lead by you are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget
  • Develop, lead, and maintain up-to-date project timelines inclusive of all critical activities, key interdependencies, financial and legal commitments
  • Develop feasibility studies; interact with consultants (including architects, engineers, contractors, etc)
  • Collaborates and coordinates with other MSC Cruises internal departments and divisions
  • Deliver transparent, timely and effective verbal and written communication to teams, stakeholders, and appropriate levels of the organization. Manage professional presentations.
  • Maintain management and other stakeholders aware of the progress on projects and prepares progress reports, meeting agendas and minutes, and presentations
  • Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues to relevant stakeholders, lead development and delivery of tactical and achievable mitigation and contingency planning
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties for the flawless execution of projects
  • Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive project documentation
  • Project planning, management and administration during the design and construction cycle, including technical, required manpower, schedule and financial project metrics
